TSSNT’s Thanks-Living event on November 3 was attended by about 150 persons who donated $11,000! In addition, a board member, who, with his family, hosted their own fundraiser in memory of what would have been their murdered son’s 30th birthday, presented the organization with an additional $9,000.
Following a fabulous BBQ dinner that was prepared and by chef donors and others, former clients who had suffered traumatic incidents described their condition when they started trauma therapy with TSSNT, and how they function successfully now. These uplifting testimonies demonstrate that persons plagued by great human suffering can indeed become strong again, perhaps stronger than they were before their tragedies.
